Here are some of the wines we have produced over the years.
This is a big wine with plenty of ripe fruit characters, fullness and “jaminess” with a subtle blend of American and French oak.
The granitic well drained sandy loam soil this region is noted for producing Shiraz of excellence. This is the first Shiraz wine produced from the property and was awarded a bronze medal at the Daylesford Wine Show.
As this was our first wine we will always remember the Shriaz 2003 as an great success.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Sauvignon is French for “Savage Dog”! …. Not really, but as a uni student we always referred to Cabernet Sauvignon as “ Cabernet Savage Dog” and the name is perpetuated on the label.
Grown on the granitic well drained sandy loam of the Faraday area this Cabernet Sauvignon is actually a Cab.Sauvignon/Merlot/Cab.Franc.
The Cabernet Sauvignon delivers fresh herbaceous fruit characters, the Merlot fills up the mid Palate with the fine tannins of the Cabernet Franc contributing to the firm finish.
Remember do not get “Savaged” and drink in moderation
